## Read and set aside

- [Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 schedule 2](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1999/1148/schedule/2): schedule 2 sets the fittings requirements themselves; the stored read carries no record or notice duty
- [COSHH Regulations 2002 regulation 7](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2002/2677/regulation/7): the stored read of COSHH regulation 7 carries the regulation's control measures, with no record-keeping duty for water work in the paragraphs read

## Methodology

Each provision's own eCFR, EPA, legislation.gov.uk and HSE texts on water and gas work were read through estate-fetch and stored whole (sha256 on every row). For every text, four questions were answered from its own words: who holds the record, what the paperwork is, how long it is kept, the provision, in its own words. Every stated answer carries the sentence it rests on, checked against the stored text; 'not stated' means the text read does not address the question. A provision with several texts reads 'varies' where they disagree. 10 provisions, 10 texts.
