The question plumbing owners ask
Can a plumbing company sell its job records to AI?
Updated
Usually, for the records the firm wrote, once the people at each address are taken out. 4 of the 6 plumbing systems we read say in their terms that the firm owns its data.
What the plumbing software contracts say
A data licence leaves the plumbing firm holding its records and gives a buyer a cleaned copy to train on. The first document to read is the software contract the jobs were kept under. These are its own words, quoted from each maker's page, offered as information and not as advice on your contract.

The people in a plumbing job record
Every job sheet carries a householder, a tenant or a site contact and an address, and often access codes and phone numbers. Those details are personal data while someone can be identified from them, so they are removed before any copy leaves the firm. What a buyer licenses is the plumbing: the symptom, the diagnosis, the repair and the cost.
