Who owns a plumbing firm's job data
Plumbing software data ownership: the clauses, maker by maker
Updated
4 of the 6 plumbing systems on the board say the firm owns its job data, and 4 still keep a de-identified or aggregated copy for themselves.
The copy the software maker keeps
Owning the data does not stop a software maker keeping its own anonymised version, and a buyer will ask about both. Here are those clauses, each in the maker's words.
ServiceCore: owns the de-identified data, including job and dispatch information
ServiceCore's terms say de-identified data may include de-identified or aggregated versions of a customer's "job, service, sales, dispatch, scheduling, and payment information", and that ServiceCore owns it.

Arrivy: anonymised before use beyond your account
Arrivy's terms say that where it uses member content beyond the customer's account to develop or improve its AI features or services, "it first anonymizes or de-identifies the data".

Profit Rhino: aggregates metrics from your content
Profit Rhino's terms let it "aggregate and analyze any metrics and data" it captures about use of the service and collects from customer content.

Getting the plumbing jobs out
mHelpDesk describes exporting your data to other systems as a migration task you request, and Profit Rhino provides an export file as a paid professional service. Ask for the export, and its price, before the subscription ends.
